The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has greeted the Christian faithful on the occasion of Easter, whose celebration begins with Good Friday today.
In a signed statement, Idris said: “I join all our Christian brothers and sisters in embracing Easter’s message of hope, renewal, and sacrifice.
“This season reminds us of the power of faith to overcome adversity, and of the promise of new beginnings. May it strengthen the bonds of unity that hold us together as one nation, and inspire us to continue building a Nigeria where peace, tolerance and goodwill prevail.
“Happy Easter to all celebrating, at home and abroad.”
