The Overseeing Commissioner, Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Kaduna State, Samuel Aruwan, disclosed that the curfew will now be enforced from 6 pm to 8 am daily.

“This implies that citizens may move freely and carry out their legitimate activities between 8 am and 6 pm, and will revert to the curfew from 6 pm to 8 am,” Aruwan stated.

The Kaduna State Security Council reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining peace and security in the state.

Security forces will continue to enforce the curfew strictly and address any actions that could threaten public order during both movement and restricted periods.

The new curfew schedule takes effect from Thursday, 8th August 2024.
