The Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MOPPAN) has stated a commitment to expand its reach to a global audience, elevating its stature both nationally and internationally.
Towards this end, MOPPAN is dedicated to forging partnerships, cultural exchanges, technical and collaborations.
In line with this mission, the National President of the association, Malam Umar Maikudi (Cashman), recently in Abuja submitted a proposal to the Philippines Ambassador, Merleso J. Mallejor, on behalf of the association.
The National Publicity Secretary of the association, Ibrahim Amarawa, said in a press release on Friday: “This effort is part of MOPPAN’s ongoing commitment to upgrading its activities, extending its presence across Nigeria and beyond.
“Guided by the slogan ‘Kannywood First,’ MOPPAN is eager to collaborate with individuals, governmental and non-governmental organisations to achieve its goal of establishing Kannywood as a vibrant film industry on the global stage.”
