The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency (KSPWA) has officially launched its 2025 Hajj enlightenment and education programme for intending pilgrims.

The Executive Chairman of the agency, Malam Salihu Abubakar, highlighted the programme’s vital role in equipping pilgrims with the necessary knowledge and skills for a successful Hajj.

The training covers Hajj rituals, Islamic principles, and potential challenges, ensuring that participants are prepared for any new regulations or procedures from authorities.

Malam Abubakar urged the intending pilgrims to complete their Hajj fare payments before the deadline set by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), which has allocated over 6,000 Hajj seats to Kaduna State for 2025.

The Director of Operations of the agency, Alhaji Abubakar Usman Yusuf, explained that the enlightenment programme would be conducted on weekends across all the 23 local government areas of the state.

He emphasised that attendance is compulsory for all intending pilgrims.

The Chairman of Sabon Gari Local Government Area, Malam Jamilu Abubakar Albani, represented by his deputy, Alhaji Abdulkareem Kamilu, stressed the importance of complying with laws in both Nigeria and Saudi Arabia to ensure an accepted Hajj, which leads to Aljannah (paradise).
