The Federal Government has appointed Dr. Hauwa Tanko Mohammed as the Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa, Nasarawa State.

She is the first female substantive Rector of the institution.

Dr Mohammed was presented with her letter of appointment at the Federal Ministry of Education in Abuja today. February 05, 2025.

Until her appointment, she had held the position on an acting capacity.

The new Rector hails from Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
