The Inspector-General of Police, Alhaji Usman Alkali Baba, has redeployed a former force’s spokesman of the Nigeria Police Force, Mr. Frank Mba, as police commissioner in charge of the border control force.
The Police Commissioner for the Federal Capital Territory, Mr. Babaji Sunday, is also posted to the Nigeria Police College, Maiduguri, as the Commandant.
They are part of seven Commissioners of Police (CPs) the IGP posted to various police commands and formations across the country, the spokesman of the police force, Mr Olumuyiwa Adejobi, disclosed in a statement Saturday.
Adejobi said: “The posting is predicated on the recent completion of the Senior Executive Course 44 at the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) wherein senior officers of the Nigeria Police Force featured prominently.
They are Sadiq Abubakar as CP for the FCT; Frank Emeka Mba as CP, Border Patrol Force, Force Headquarters, Abuja; Arungwa N. Udo as CP DFA Force Intelligence Bureau, Force Headquarters, Abuja; Bardaru B. Lawal as CP General Investigations, Force Criminal Investigations Department Annex, Kaduna; Suleiman A. Yusuf as CP Administration, Research and Planning, Force Headquarters, Abuja, and Ebong E. Ebong as CP Administration, DFA, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
