Morocco has recorded a total of 41 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection on Sunday.
The ministry disclosed in its nation’s daily COVID-19 bulletin that 22 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the same period of time.
The new COVID-19 cases were recorded in the following regions of the country: Casablanca-Settat (13); Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (07); the Eastern Region (06); Marrakech-Safi (05); Fez-Meknes (04); Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (02); Souss-Massa (02); Béni Mellal-Khénifra (01) and Drâa-Tafilalet (01).
Morocco’s daily COVID-19 bulletin also disclosed that a total of 24,809,721 people have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine while vaccinated people for both 1st and 2nd doses have attained 23,288,828, and 6,277,583 people have received the third dose of the vaccine.
The number of COVID-19 cases reported since the outbreak of the virus has risen to 1,165,247 while the number of recoveries rose to 1,148,878.
The number of fatalities remained at 16,070 with no deaths recorded in the last 24 hours while active cases stand at 299.
