The new Chief Executive Officer/National Coordinator of the African Union Development Agency New Partnership for African Development (AUDA-NEPAD) in Nigeria, Hon. Jabiru Salisu Abdullahi Tsauri, has assumed official duties on Friday, with a vow to actualise the objectives of the Tinubu Administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
In a statement, the Head of Information and Public Relations of the agency, Mrs Iyabo Akinwale, said in his opening remarks at the agency’s headquarters in Abuja, the new helmsman reminded the staff that their mandate and objectives should be in line with Tinubu’s Renew Hope Agenda, which is “transformation of the agricultural sector, improving the quality of Nigerians and good government to civil societies.”
Tsauri noted that with dedication, AUDA- NEPAD will definitely realise its goals.
He said it was a privilege for him to be in the midst of management and staff of the agency.
The outgoing acting CEO/NC, Barrister Baba Sa’idu, welcomed the new helmsman and his aides, emphasising that he was grateful to the staff of the agency for giving him the opportunity to serve.
He promised to work diligently with the new national coordinator and his aides to achieve the goals and visions of AUDA- NEPAD Nigeria.
Until his appointment, the 56-year-old Tsauri was the Chief of Staff to the Katsina State Governor.
