President Bola Tinubu has condemned the recent bomb attacks in Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State, which resulted in significant loss of life and injuries.
In a statement issued by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), President Tinubu described the attacks as “desperate acts of terror.”
He noted that they reflect the increasing pressure on terrorists and the success of ongoing efforts to degrade their capabilities.
“The purveyors of wanton violence shall have a certain encounter with justice,” President Tinubu asserted, emphasizing that his government will not permit the nation to descend into an era of fear, tears, sorrow, and blood.
He stressed that these cowardly attacks are isolated incidents and pledged to redouble efforts to secure the nation and remove those who disrupt law and order.
The President extended his condolences to the victims, their families, and the people of Borno State, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all citizens.
