President Bola Tinubu has expressed his heartfelt condolences to President Lazarus Chakwera and the people of Malawi after the tragic death of Vice-President Saulos Chilima and other officials in a plane crash.
In a statement released by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, President Tinubu conveyed his sympathy to the families affected by the devastating incident that occurred on Monday, June 10, 2024.
President Tinubu also assured Malawi of Nigeria’s support during this period of mourning and offered prayers for the repose of the souls of those who perished in the crash.
