Wife of the Zamfara State governor, Hajiya Aisha Bello Muhammed, has donated food items, clothing materials, baby wears and cash to a mother of quadruplets.
In a press release, the Press Secretary in the Office of the First Lady, Zainab Shua’ibu Abdullahi, said a 30-year-old Naja’atu has given birth to a set of quadruplets in Shinkafi Local Government Area of the state three days ago.
She said the items, comprising of baby wears, clothing materials, baby milk, diaper, detergent and a set of Mama Kit package and cash, were donated through the First Lady’s Anchor Initiative in supporting the less and vulnerable people.
Presenting the items to the families at the Federal Medical Centre, Gusau, on Sunday, the governor’s wife expressed delight and rejoiced with the family for a successful delivery and prayed for the successful upbringing and survival of the children.
Represented by the wife of the state Commissioner for Special Duties, Hajiya Fatima Abdul’aziz Nahuche, the first lady said
the assistance was aimed at reducing the burden of taking care of the children on the family.
In their separate remarks, the parents of the quadruplets, Alhaji Isyaku and Malama Naja’atu appreciated the first lady for her kind gesture.
They prayed to the amighty Allah to continue to guide and protect her and her husband, Governor Bello Muhammed (Matawallen Maradun).
They also prayed for the success of the Matawalle administration in its commitment to helping the less privileged and vulnerable groups in the state.
