Secretary General of the Pan African Writers Association (PAWA), Dr Wale Okediran, today paid a courtesy call on the Prime Minister of Palestine, H.E. Dr Mohammad Mustafa, in his office in the Palestinian capital city of Ramallah.

Okediran, who is a guest of the Palestinian Writers Union (PWU), was accompanied on the visit by the Secretary General of the union, Mr Murad Al Sudani.

ANA set to kick off 45th International Convention October 29 in Abuja

The two writers’ associations had, as far back as November 7, 2022, signed a Cultural Cooperation Agreement which among other things sought to foster a mutual cultural awareness between African and Palestinian writers.

In his remarks, the Prime Minister, who was accompanied to the event by some Palestinian cabinet Ministers, promised his country’s support to both writers’ bodies in their quest to fulfill the cultural cooperation agreement between them.
