The Executive Chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), Zacch Adedeji, has described the growing presence of global financial institution JP Morgan in Nigeria as a strong signal of international investor confidence in the country’s economic direction.

Adedeji stated this on Monday when he received the newly appointed Managing Director of JP Morgan Nigeria, Adedapo Olagunju, during a courtesy visit to the NRS headquarters in Abuja.

He said the confidence demonstrated by international investors reflected the credibility, stability and predictability being fostered by the economic reforms and fiscal policies of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

According to the NRS chairman, a transparent, efficient and predictable fiscal environment is essential to attracting global capital, strengthening institutional partnerships and positioning Nigeria as a competitive investment destination.

He added that the continued implementation of the reforms, coupled with the confidence of leading global financial institutions such as JP Morgan, signalled that Nigeria was laying the foundation for sustainable economic growth and long-term investment.
