During Ramadan, the Board extended its reach, supporting over 40,000 individuals across the state with essential foodstuffs and financial assistance. Additionally, initiatives such as providing free prosthetic limbs and aiding VVF patients underscore the Board’s commitment to healthcare accessibility and rehabilitation for the marginalised.

Through partnerships with organisations like Bright Futures Serious and Organised Crime (SOC) Prevention Project, the Board has established structures for crime prevention and support systems, ensuring vulnerable youngsters receive necessary guidance and empowerment to steer clear of criminal activities.

Post-Eid al-Fitr, the Board remains proactive, promising to engage hundreds of individuals in resilience-building programs and skill acquisition initiatives. This forward-looking approach signifies their dedication to long-term empowerment and sustainable solutions.

The highlights of the Board’s achievements reflect its effectiveness and tangible impact on the ground. From immediate relief efforts to long-term empowerment initiatives, each endeavor embodies the principles of solidarity and compassion inherent in Zakat.

Moving forward, the Board pledges to uphold ethical standards, foster collaborations, and continuously innovate to address poverty and socio-economic challenges effectively.

With a steadfast commitment to serving the community guided by Islamic principles, the Zamfara State Zakat and Endowment Board stand as a beacon of hope for the less fortunate.
