Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Prince Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, praised President Tinubu and the National Assembly for their roles in this development.

Fagbemi stated, “President Tinubu has consistently demonstrated his commitment to the sustainable reform of the administration of justice. This is an important component of this reform. The review of judicial remuneration is a first and important step towards achieving a judicial system that works in the interest of all Nigerians.”

Fagbemi further expressed his ministry’s dedication to working with justice sector stakeholders to address additional issues needed to strengthen the judiciary.

He also commended the 10th National Assembly for their prompt action in passing the bill, highlighting their concern for the welfare of the judiciary and judicial officers.
