The Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Borno State Chapter, has congratulated award-winning poet Dr. Kabura Lynn Zakama on his appointment as a Fellow of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), describing the honour as “well-deserved.”
The Chairperson of the state chapter, Zuwaira Halilu, said in a press statement: “Dr. Kabura has been a great mentor, support, and guide to many literary artists within and beyond Borno State.
“Through his unwavering commitment, he has inspired emerging voices, offering encouragement, guidance, and opportunities for growth.
“His kindness, humility, and passion for literature continue to shape the creative landscape and strengthen the spirit of poetry and storytelling across Nigeria.”
She added that Zakama’s recognition by ANA “celebrates years of selfless service, dedication, and genuine love for the literary community.”
The entire ANA Borno family shares in this joy and takes great pride in his remarkable achievements, she said.
Halilu also told the celebrant: “We celebrate you, sir, for your steadfast devotion and for continually lifting others with your words, wisdom, and example. May this honour open even greater doors of impact and fulfillment in your literary journey.”
Zakama is the author of the remarkable poetry collection, ‘Chant of the Angry’ and is the CEO of the publishing firm Kairos Tablets and Scrolls.
