Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has led a strong delegation comprising of two former governors of the state, on a condolence visit to the family residence of the late Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, Katsina State.
Sule, in company of two former governors of the state, Senators Abdullahi Adamu and Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, left Abuja for Daura this Saturday.
Other top government functionaries on the trip included Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State, Dr. Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, the Accountant General of the state, Dr. Musa Ahmed Muhammed, as well as the Emir of Lafia, HRH Justice Sidi Bage Mohammed III.

On arrival in Daura, the delegation is expected to convey the condolences of the government and people of Nasarawa State to the bereaved family of the deceased.
The governor has also approved for the hosting of a special prayer session in honour of Buhari in Lafia tomorrow.
Dr Magaji conveyed the approval, stating that the special prayer session will hold at the Palace of the Emir of Lafia, with all political appointees expected to attend.
Buhari died on July 13 and was buried on Tuesday according to Islamic rites in Daura.
