The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has dismissed a report making the rounds in social media about advertised vacancies and recruitments in the commission.
It unequivocally declared that the information containing the Commission’s website and the name of the Director (Recruitment and Appointment) did not emanate from it.
“It is fictitious and should be disregarded,” the FCSC said in a press release signed by one Taiwo Hassan on behalf of its chairman.
It said: “The Commission warns members of the public to be wary of the activities of fake recruitment syndicates and racketeers; as there is no fresh appointment currently going on in the Commission.
“Whenever the Commission officially commences any recruitment exercise this will be publicly announced on national dallies and Commission’s website.”
