The late Hajiya Hannatu Zailani

The Director of Finance and Administration, Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Hajiya Hannatu Zailani, is dead.

She passed on today at a private hospital in Kaduna after a brief illness.

A press release signed by the Public Relations Officer of the agency, Alhaji Yunusa Mohammed Abdullahi, described the late director as “a dedicated public servant with a long and distinguished career at the agency.”

She began her service in the early 1990s and rose through the ranks to become Director of Finance and Administration. From 2019 to 2022, she also served as the overseer of the agency.

He said: “Hajiya Hannatu’s dedication and leadership will be deeply missed. We offer our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and colleagues.”

The deceased is survived by her husband and children.

Her funeral was held today at Unguwa Sarki Kaduna cemetery according to Islamic rites, the PRO said.
