In Kaduna, Tinubu visited the family of former President Muhammadu Buhari, whom he called “my brother, friend, and our late leader.”

He assured the family that Buhari’s “legacy of dedication, patriotism, and service” would be preserved and carried forward.

The President also joined Senator Abdul’aziz Yari, a former governor of Zamfara State, and his family at the wedding of his son, Nasirudeen, and Safiyya Shehu Idris at the Sultan Bello Mosque where he prayed for the young couple to build their home on faith, love, and mutual respect.

“May their union be blessed,” he said.

Reflecting on the visit in the social media post, Tinubu noted: “Kaduna will always hold a special place in our nation’s story. In sharing grief and celebrating joy today, I was reminded once again of the values that bind us together as Nigerians: faith, resilience, and unity of purpose.

“May God help Nigeria, keep us united, and guide us always.”
