Kannywood film producer, Hajiya Mansurah Isah, has appointed the Chairman of Asia Group of Companies, Alhaji Sani Isah Abubakar, as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of her humanitarian foundation, Today’s Life Foundation.
Renowned Kannywood film producer, Hajiya Mansurah Isah, has appointed the Chairman of Asia Group of Companies, Alhaji Sani Isah Abubakar, as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of her humanitarian foundation, Today’s Life Foundation.
She announced his appointment during a courtesy and goodwill visit to him at his office.
While speaking at the event, the foundation’s president highlighted the various achievements the foundation has recorded in providing assistance to the needy from all walks of life.
She said: “This is a foundation that serves the community, takes care of orphans, supports the sick with financial assistance, among other humanitarian services.
“This foundation has spent a long time—many years—carrying out charitable activities for the public without fatigue. And, praise be to God, this has been made possible through the support we receive from donor organisations and individuals who encourage and support us in many ways whenever the need arises.
“Indeed, we have had the opportunity to save the lives of countless sick people at this moment I am standing here, because they are so many.
“Likewise, orphans and other vulnerable people are also among the core objectives of our foundation.”
She added: “Alhaji Sani Isah is always at the forefront of wiping away our tears whenever we inform him about the condition of sick people, orphans, and other vulnerable individuals who seek help from us. He consistently encourages us and contributes generously without showing any sign of fatigue.
“Considering his compassion and dedication to helping people—not only within this foundation but everywhere—we deemed it appropriate, as we decided to reposition our foundation, to appoint him as Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
“Therefore, we have come to formally inform him that from this moment, he is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Today’s Life Foundation.”
Alhaji Sani Isah Abubakar is a prominent businessman in Kano and a young man widely regarded as a pillar of support for the less privileged, due to his consistent assistance to the underprivileged and other vulnerable groups. It is through this humanitarian work that he has earned recognition both within and outside Kano city.
Mansurah Isah paid the visit accompanied by staff and members of Today’s Life Foundation.
