Haladu Mohammed is a seasoned development expert with over three decades of experience in educational administration, monitoring, evaluation, and learning.

He has served in various capacities on education reform programmes funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and British Department for International Development (DFID), where he led several teams in Nigeria, Ghana, and Liberia.

Born in Sanakur village in Badume Ward of Bichi Local Government, Haladu previously lectured at the College of Arts, Science and Remedial Studies (CAS), Kano, before joining international development organisations in 2002.

The statement added that he was also a member of the Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s Blueprint Drafting Committee in 2019.

The newly appointed officials are:

• Muhammad Inuwa Jika – Senior Special Assistant on Broadcast Maintenance

• Ramadan Yusuf – Senior Special Assistant on Media Monitoring and Innovation

• Haladu Mohammed – Technical Adviser to the Governor on Education Reforms

Engineer Muhammad Inuwa Jika is an experienced broadcast engineer who previously served as Assistant General Manager Technical Services at Nasara Radio, Kano.

He brings with him years of hands-on experience in radio operations, technical maintenance, and transmission infrastructure.

Ramadan Yusuf is an ICT expert and digital media strategist with a strong background in innovation and media analysis.

His role will be central in strengthening the government’s media monitoring systems and introducing modern approaches to public communication and digital engagement.

These appointments underscore the governor’s commitment to professionalism, innovation, and quality service delivery across all sectors of his administration.

The governor has charged the new appointees to justify the confidence reposed in them by bringing diligence, creativity, and technical expertise to their respective offices in line with the broader development vision of the government.
