As part of the preparations for the forthcoming 2024 Creative Africa Nexus (CANEX) event slated for 16-19 October, 2024 in Algiers, Algeria, the CANEX video team has visited the headquarters of the Pan African Writers Association (PAWA) in Accra, Ghana, on August 21, 2024.
The team was led by the CANEX Senior Programme Manager, Ms Chanelle Ellaya (3rd, left).
The purpose for the visit was to conduct a video interview with the Secretary General of PAWA and Head of the Jury on the CANEX Prize for Publishing In Africa, Dr. Wale Okediran.
To welcome the team were Dr Okediran (4th, left) and the staff of the PAWA House.
Other members of the CANEX team were Pablo Pinedo (2nd, left) and Jim Nkoana (5th, left).
The CANEX Prize for Publishing in Africa is an initiative of the Afreximbank, Cairo, Egypt.
Other members of the three-man jury are Ashraf Aboul Yazid and Edwige Dro.
