Honourable Minister, Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Hajiya Sadiya Umar Farouq, is attending the 27th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27) in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
COP is a platform where global leaders lay out their plans on how to limit global warming to well below 2 degrees and aim for 1.5 degrees, to adapt to the impacts of a changing climate, and to make money available to deliver on these aims.
The conference, which opened on Monday, is being attended by high level delegations from around the world.
