The Imo Police Command has detained Oluchi Nzemechi, a 27-year-old lady, for stabbing her partner, Kelechi Nzemechi, to death, during a dispute over the proceeds from alleged internet fraud.

The suspect admitted to the crime, revealing that her partner had refused to share the 250 million Rupiah they had illegally obtained from a victim in Indonesia.

At the crime scene, the police discovered a note written by the suspect, threatening to harm the victim’s family.

The suspect had been living with the victim since 2019, and they have a child together.

Authorities are working to recover the stolen funds and will proceed with charging the suspect in court.
