Re-election: Ghana writers felicitate with PAWA scribe

The Ghana Association of Writers (GAW) has congratulated Dr Wale Okediran on his recent election as the Secretary General of the Pan African Writers Association (PAWA).

The association also promised to work with PAWA in the promotion of African literature.

These assertions were made Friday when the newly elected GAW president, Dr Camynta Baezie, led the new executive members of his association on a courtesy visit to Okediran in his office at PAWA House in Accra, Ghana.

While thanking GAW for the visit, the PAWA scribe also congratulated Baezie and his executive on their recent election.

He reiterated PAWA’S committment to a strong pan-African writers’ body with the promise to work with GAW to achieve this vision.

Okediran later presented some books on behalf of PAWA to his guests.
