President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Ms. Omolola Bridget Oloworaran as the new Director-General of the National Pension Commission (PenCom). The appointment is pending confirmation by the Nigerian Senate.
The announcement was made by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, on Saturday.
Ms. Oloworaran is a finance and banking expert with extensive experience in the industry.
The President expressed his anticipation for a goal-oriented leadership under Ms. Oloworaran, aiming to drive efficiency and exemplary performance within the National Pension Commission, which serves as the primary regulator of the Nigerian Pension Industry.
