
Abuja-based Tozali Television has appointed Malam Muhammad Iskeel Abdullahi as its new General Manager.
In a press release it issued today, the Hausa language satellite TV station announced that this “strategic move aims to further strengthen the channel’s position as a leading voice in Nigerian media.”
It said: “Muhammad Iskeel Abdullahi brings over two decades of experience in media, communication, and digital content creation to his new role.
“A distinguished accountant turned broadcast journalist, Iskeel has established himself as a seasoned newscaster, editor, playwright, and media strategist.”
The statement quoted the Chairman of Tozali TV, Maimuna Yaya Abubakar, as saying: “We are thrilled to welcome Iskeel to the Tozali TV family.
“His wealth of experience, strategic insight, and passion for innovative storytelling will undoubtedly propel our channel to new heights.”
Abdullahi’s impressive career spans various leadership roles, including General Manager of Vision FM Katsina, pioneer General Manager of Liberty TV/Radio Kano, and General Manager, News and Current Affairs at Liberty TV’s Head Office in Abuja.
As a skilled programme/content producer and presenter, Iskeel’s voice and influence have significantly impacted the Nigerian media landscape.
His ability to blend informative storytelling with engaging online content has positioned him as a leading voice in Nigeria’s evolving media space.

The New Citizen reports that Abdullahi replaced the former General Manager, Malam Al-Amin Ciroma, who resigned recently.
