Residents of Kaduna town have pledged to support Governor Uba Sani’s aspiration in the 2027 general elections because of the developmental infrastructure he is building in their various communities.
The people of Unguwan Sarki in the Kaduna metropolis particularly commended the governor for his tarring of the main road artery that runs through the community, which was abandoned by the previous administration after preliminary works.
The Sarkin Unguwan Sarki, Alhaji Ibrahim Isa, who said this in his goodwill message during the commissioning of the road this Tuesday, disclosed that the abandoned project made the community dusty and most people avoided the ward completely.
Emphasising the importance of the road, Isa noted that it leads to the Sultan of Sokoto’s Kaduna home, adding that with the construction of the road, Unguwan Sarki has bounced back to its bustling self and business is now booming.

In his goodwill message, the Youth leader in the area, Aliyu Faruk, pleaded with the governor to provide pipe-borne water to the area because water pipes were destroyed during the Urban Renewal Programme.
Unguwan Sarki, which is one of the communities in Kaduna North Local Government Area, is the ward of former Governor Nasir El-Rufai.
Responding, Governor Uba Sani disclosed that the state government has invested over ₦100 billion in the last six months to tackle water scarcity across all local governments, promising that efforts are underway to replace the infrastructure.
“We have already spent over ₦400 million to repair and replace destroyed water pipelines. By the end of this year, Kaduna will enjoy uninterrupted water supply,” he assured.

Speaking during the commissioning of the long stretch of road from Federal Government College, Malali, through FRCN quarters to Unguwan Dosa, the Chairman of Kaduna North Local Government, Alhaji Muhammad Gambo, thanked the governor for all that he has done for his area.
The chairman also named the road after Governor Uba Sani as a sign of gratitude for the developmental projects that he sited in the local government.
Speaking in the same vein, the Chairman of Igabi Local Government, Alhaji Sani Abdul Zangon Aya, said that the construction of the Rafin Guza-Malalin Gabas road has cut travel time to Kawo, adding that it used to take residents about two hours to get to the latter in a rickshaw.
He described the people of Igabi Local Government as the favourites of the Uba Sani administration, as it sited one of the six Science Secondary Schools in Igabi.
He pointed out that the government has built one of the three Vocational and Skill Acquisition Centres at Rigachikun, which is in Igabi Local Government Area, adding that the centre will benefit not just Kaduna citizens but other Nigerians.
Zangon Aya recalled that Igabi Local Government gave Governor Uba Sani the highest votes in the 2023 election, promising that the Area Council will double the votes in 2027.
