The Federal Government has announced the release of the admission list for successful candidates offered admission into Junior Secondary School One (JSS1) of Federal Unity Colleges for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The Minister of Education, Dr Maruf Tunji Alausa, who approved the release, said the development was part of the Federal Government’s commitment to ensuring a transparent, accessible and orderly admission process for prospective students.
This was contained in a statement issued on Monday by the Director of Press and Public Relations, Federal Ministry of Education, Boriowo Folasade.
According to the ministry, parents and guardians can check the admission status of their children and wards through the Federal Ministry of Education’s admission portal or the notice board of the relevant Federal Unity College.
It said candidates offered admission are required to print their admission slips and proceed to the Federal Unity College indicated on the slip for confirmation and completion of the admission process.
The ministry directed parents and guardians to access the admission status and admission slips through the FME Posting Portal.
It urged parents and guardians to check the admission status promptly and ensure that successful candidates report to their respective colleges as required to commence the admission process.
Alausa congratulated all successful candidates and urged them to approach their academic journey with diligence, discipline and commitment to excellence.
He wished the students a rewarding and fulfilling academic experience in their respective Federal Unity Colleges.
