Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, has pledged to mobilise 20 million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election through his Tinubu Again Movement.
Matawalle made the pledge on Tuesday in Abuja after returning to Nigeria from a foreign trip, where he was received by supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and members of the movement.
The minister, who was recently appointed Deputy Director, Security and Intelligence I of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, said the movement would mobilise support for Tinubu across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
Matawalle said he was backing Tinubu’s re-election bid because of what he described as the President’s achievements in youth employment, security and economic development since assuming office.

He said the Tinubu Again Movement was established to support the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda and expressed his determination to contribute to the President’s victory in 2027.
“I will do everything within my capacity to achieve the target of 20 million votes for President Tinubu,” Matawalle said.
The National Coordinator of the movement, Auwal Abdullahi Aliyu, also expressed confidence in Tinubu’s re-election, saying members and supporters would intensify their mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 election.
He said the movement remained committed to strengthening support for the President and promoting the achievements of his administration across the country.
