President of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Dr. Usman Oladipo Akanbi, has extended his heartfelt felicitations to Professor Sunnie Ododo on his election as the Vice President of the Nigerian Academy of Letter (NAL).
A press release issued by the General Secretary association, Dr. Dame Joan Oji, said Akanbi, in his congratulatory message, noted that this appointment is a fitting recognition of Ododo’s exceptional leadership and scholarly achievements.

In a related development, ANA has also extended its “warmest congratulations” to Professor Priye Iyalla-Amadi on her induction as a Member of the Nigerian Academy of Letters.
ANA President, Akanbi, expressed his heartfelt delight at the induction, noting that it was done in recognition of her exemplary academic work and dedication to knowledge dissemination.
“We are delighted to see Professor Iyalla-Amadi recognised for her remarkable contributions to Nigerian scholarship and cultural heritage,” Dr. Akanbi said, adding, “Her induction into the Nigerian Academy of Letters highlights the enduring impact of Nigerian scholarship on the global intellectual stage.”
