The First Congress of the World Organization of Writers (WOW), held in Abuja, was not merely an event — it became a turning point in the history of international literary dialogue.
We express our deep gratitude to Nigeria — a great nation that welcomed this Congress with an open heart and a high cultural spirit.
Our special thanks go to Dr. Usman Akanbi, President of the Association of Nigerian Authors, for his support and active participation in the preparation of the forum.
We sincerely thank Mrs. Idowu Okediran, Chair of the Ebedi International Writers Residency, for her contribution, openness, and assistance in organizing the gathering.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Wale Okediran, Secretary General of the Pan African Writers Association (PAWA), for his outstanding leadership, cultural foresight, and efforts that made the WOW Congress a reality.
Abuja became a symbol of the unification of literary voices from different countries and continents. It was here, in an atmosphere of intellectual solidarity, that new foundations were laid for cooperation among writers, poets, translators, researchers, and publishers from around the world.

We are also pleased to convey letters of gratitude from our strategic partners — the Assembly of the Peoples of Eurasia and Africa — who highly praised the organization of the First WOW Congress and expressed sincere appreciation to the hosts for strengthening international humanitarian ties through literature.
WOW thanks all participants, organizers, and partners for their contribution to building a living literary bridge between nations. Long live the poetic word, long live the international community of writers!
