Curtain falls on maiden Norrenberger Abuja Fitlife 2022

Bodyline, one of Nigeria’s leading fitness outfits has successful hosted the Norrenberger Abuja Fitlife 2022, a 2-day fitness event organised through a brand partnership between Bodyline Fitness and Norrenberger.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Norrenberger Abuja Fitlife 2022 held at the Central Park, Abuja, between Friday and Saturday, had more than 3,000 registered attendees and 1,500 competition participants.

The two-day event packed with the Abuja Fittest and Abuja Strongest competitions , two rigorous tournaments testing the fitness and strength of their participants.

The event also featured a half marathon and a charity to help raise funds towards the support of persons with disability.

The winners across the various competitions won a cumulative total cash prize of N50 million.

Etang Godwin and Uduak Ikara emerged winners of the Abuja Fittest Male and Female categories with a whopping sum of N 5 million each as prize money.

While Big Joe and Sandra Okonkwo were adjudged Abuja’s Strongest Male and Female with a mouth-watering prize money of N1 million and N500,000.

Other attractions at the event included live musical performances by top rated Nigerian music artiste, Iyanya, DJ TTB, DJ Gigi Jasmine and more.

Speaking on the success of the event, the Managing Director of Bodyline Fitness, Bankole Opashi said he was elated as the objectives of hosting the event were met.

“We are so excited about the partnership with Norrenberger this year and the cohesion between the fitness and wealth creation communities.

“The turnout was very impressive and we saw a larger number of registered competition participants.

“All in all, our objectives with the partnership and the event itself were met. As a fitness focused brand, we reached more people with our message of prioritising health, wellness and fitness,” he said.

Norrenberger’s Group Managing Director, Tony Edeh, who expressed delight said the event was a remarkable experience.

“To have thousands of fitness enthusiasts and wealth advisors alike come together in one place to celebrate the limitless potential of the human body as well as the ever-present wealth creation potential in Nigeria was indeed remarkable,” he said.

NAN also reports that the Norrenberger Abuja Fitlife 2022 is Norrenberger’s maiden fitness partnership with BodyLine.

The event is designed to identify with the fitness community and also to encourage existing and prospective Norrenberger customers to prioritise their health and wellness.
