President Bola Tinubu has urged the Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir Usman, and the entire Katsina Emirate to intensify prayers for Nigeria’s peace, unity, security and prosperity.
The President’s message was conveyed by his Special Adviser on Political and Other Matters, Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari, during a courtesy visit to the Emir’s palace following the wedding Fatiha of the monarch’s three sons in Katsina on Saturday.
Masari attended the wedding ceremony alongside a presidential delegation, which included Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni, who represented Tinubu and served as the wali, or marriage guardian, for the three grooms: Usman Abdulmumini Kabir, Dikko Abdulmumini Kabir and Umar Abdulmumini Kabir.
The ceremony took place at the Emir’s Central Mosque in Katsina, with government officials, religious leaders and other dignitaries in attendance.
During the visit to the palace, Masari said the President appreciated the continued prayers and support of traditional and religious leaders across the country.
He called for renewed prayers and divine guidance to address the country’s challenges and promote national development.
The visit also underscored the importance of sustained engagement between the Federal Government and traditional institutions in fostering national unity, peace and stability.
The statement was signed by Ishaq Samaila of the Media Office of the Special Adviser to the President on Political and Other Matters.
