In a separate statement, Governor Radda, who also serves as the state coordinator of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election campaign, congratulated Katsina indigenes inaugurated into the national campaign council and urged them to intensify grassroots mobilisation.
Radda described their inauguration as a call to service, charging them to demonstrate diligence, integrity, resilience and commitment to the party’s campaign.
“Your inauguration comes with significant responsibilities and expectations. I charge you to deploy your experience, leadership capacity and political networks towards effective grassroots mobilisation, wider public engagement and stronger support for President Tinubu’s re-election,” the governor said.
He urged the appointees to avoid political distractions and unnecessary controversies, stressing that unity, discipline and strategic engagement were essential to achieving the campaign’s objectives.
The governor also called for stronger coordination among the council’s directorates and sustained cooperation with party leaders, stakeholders and grassroots supporters across Katsina State, the North-West and the country at large.
According to him, the Renewed Hope Agenda 2.0 presents an opportunity to consolidate national reforms and advance economic opportunities, infrastructure development, social welfare and inclusive growth.
Radda expressed confidence that members of the campaign council would contribute meaningfully to the party’s mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 presidential election. He also urged them to maintain responsible political engagement and exemplary conduct.
The establishment of the Katsina State campaign council formalises the APC’s organisational framework for its 2027 electioneering activities, with responsibilities distributed across the leadership, advisory committee, specialised directorates and grassroots coordinating structures.
