An aspirant for the Jigawa Central Senatorial District seat, Dr. Halima Sulaiman Zakari, has congratulated candidates who emerged through the All Progressives Congress (APC) unity list in Jigawa State, reaffirming her loyalty to the party and its leadership.
Zakari, in a statement today, described the outcome as a reflection of the party’s collective resolve and enduring spirit of unity.
She acknowledged the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi, whom she described as her father and mentor, for their support and guidance in her political journey.
The senatorial aspirant, who is also the Welfare Director of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), said she remained committed to contributing to national development, stressing that the latest political development would strengthen rather than diminish her determination to serve.
She pledged to intensify her efforts towards the success of the APC and the advancement of the people, despite not emerging through the unity list.
Zakari also expressed gratitude to her supporters across the seven local government areas of Jigawa Central Senatorial District, commending their loyalty, encouragement and continued belief in her political ambition.
According to her, the movement she has built with her supporters is anchored on progress, inclusivity and shared prosperity.
She called on party members to close ranks, set aside their differences and work collectively for the success of the APC and the overall development of Jigawa State and Nigeria.
The aspirant further reaffirmed her unwavering loyalty to President Tinubu, Governor Namadi and the APC, insisting that her commitment to the party remained firm.
She urged party stakeholders and supporters to embrace unity, consistency and a shared sense of purpose in advancing the party’s interests.
